  1. This is really interesting. I haven’t seen a windfarm in theocean before but I have read about it. Is there a lot of controversy around this particular farm?
    Those are fascinating photographs, David.

    1. Thanks for your comments Karen. I can’t recall any controversy regarding the windfarm. Mind you, considering that we have a nuclear power station just opposite, I wouldn’t really expect any!

  2. They’re becoming highly visible, aren’t they? Do you like them, from an aesthetic point of view, David? They can certainly compete with ICI Wilton!
    Nice shots.

    1. They are certainly becoming noticeable Jo, especially when the light is just right . I am waiting for the day when they are complete and in operation as I expect to be able to grab some nice shots. I think that my next photos will be taken from the Headland, giving a different perspective on the project. Thanks for your comment.

    1. Thanks Sandra. The front had a revamp last year and should look quite smart when and if the spring and summer arrive! All we need now is for the Longscar Centre to be knocked down and redeveloped. It is a real eyesore and something that we could well do without.

  3. The similarity between a palm tree and a windmill is quite astonishing, yet at the same time they are so different. Beautiful in their own ways, although I know a lot of people don’t think windmills are beautiful. Those pictures are telling a strong visual story. Particularly I like the first one.

  4. Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks!
