Hi Jo. I process all my photos in Adobe Lightroom. This particular photo did not need much manipulation as the light this afternoon was so conducive to photo taking. Although there were plenty of clouds around, I was lucky to catch the sun peeping out for a brief moment. I love the winter sun, just takes more of a nudge to get me outdoors. :o)
Incredible rich and saturated colours. The dynamic and almost organic flow of the reflection in the water is quite stunning. I really like the tight crop. Beautifully captured.
The tight cropping really helps the viewers focus on the rich colours of red and orange. In contrary to the title of the post, my eyes are drawn to the top half of the image due to the brightness of the boat, but the same brightness gives the image that beautiful tonal contrast.

Gorgeous colours..

Did you Photoshop this or something, David? The colours in the water are so vivid. (humble apologies if not!) It’s a beauty, in any case.
