    1. I have those same memories too Dave though thankfully the smell has long gone. I can remember as a kid, sliding down the sea wall adjacent to the sewer outlet, sitting atop a smooth boulder that was carried up from the beach. Aah, childhood memories.

  1. I know nothing about Seaton Careew, Hartlepool but I do know that I don’t like the idea of or seeing a sewage pipe in such beautiful waters. Where in your blog can I read more about this? You’ve really caught my attention and I’m so curious.

    1. Thanks for your comment Kathy. With regard to finding more about Seaton Carew on my blog, I’m afraid that I only post photos and you will find these under the same Catagory. The sewage pipe is no longer in use and hasn’t been for a number of years, wouldn’t be allowed now under strict EU rules.
