Wonderful post David. Of course B&W !
Many thanks Tina.
I love these sepia shots, David. The soldier in the first has the most wonderful face. How did you come by them? Where you at a reenactment?
We visited during our trip to America in June. There was no enactment though the soldier was on hand in the cemetery for photos and a chat. In fact it poured down on the day we visited Gettysburg which kind of ruined the day as most of the attractions are outside. It is such a fascinating place that we cut short our visit to Washington and returned to Gettysburg on a much nicer day. Us and the weather eh?…….
Many thanks Karen. I hoped that it would suit the occasion.
An excellent series giving a feeling of the old battlefield. The processing and making the images look like traditional sepia toning adds to that feeling. Very nice, David!
Thank you so much Otto.
